The Omics Discovery Index (http://omicsdi.org) provides access to more than 80,000 datasets from 15 resources.

Published online in Nature Biotechnology today with key contributions from two researchers of the National Center for Protein Sciences · Beijing, as well as collaborators in four continents, OmicsDI aims to be a comprehensive, PubMed-style resource for datasets. Beyond search by metadata, it allows access to dataset usage metrics, traces data re-use, and points researchers to datasets related to their current dataset of interest. OmicsDI will increase visibility, impact, and re-use of public datasets, benefiting both the data producers and the scientific community.
